Position Title Adjunct Instructor - Industrial Electronics Technology
Job Description Summary

Direct instruction to students, tracking and reporting grades and attendance.

Qualifications Desired

An Associate Degree from a nationally or regionally accredited college or university is preferred. In exceptional cases documented experience may be used for initial employment however in this case the applicant must agree to obtain an Associate Degree within 3 years post hire date.

Experience Required

-Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of directly-related occupational experience and skill in the field to be taught OR

-Associate’s degree and 4 years of occupational experience and skill in the field to be taught OR

-Relevant certificate and 5 years of experience and skill in the field to be taught* OR

-7 years’ work experience in the teaching field to be taught*

AND:

-Must have relevant current professional certification or licensure in the field to be taught.

-Must have appropriate educational qualifications, as determined by the relevant programmatic accreditation agency, to act in the required positional role.

*Must additionally demonstrate steady progress to attain an Associate’s Degree to be considered for continued employment. Steady progress is defined as successful completion of at least one college course per semester, including the summer, or nine credits per academic year with completion in three years.
