Position Title Para-Educator, Summer Camps Assistant
Job Description Summary

Assist Summer Camps Coordinator and Director of Primary Partnerships with the following responsibilities and duties:
• Collaborating with postsecondary institutions and community, business & industry partners to promote summer camp series to parents and guardians of prospective summer camp attendees
• Recruiting students from grades 6 through 12 to register for and attend summer camp sessions
• Preparing and completing all camp-related paperwork, purchase requisitions, and forms
• Compiling budget-, enrollment-, and marketing-related data and documentation for tracking and benchmarking purposes
• Assembling marketing materials and packets to distribute to the appropriate groups and audiences in order to promote summer camps program
• Recruiting and scheduling personnel (full-time and adjunct) to facilitate camp sessions
• Recruiting and scheduling student workers to assist session facilitators and with other duties as assigned
• Coordinating all camp scheduling including camp-related events, camp sessions, room assignments and campus locations
• Monitoring Xenegrade-based registration process and payment systems to track enrollments and camp registration fees
• Coordinating and completing purchase requisitions for all camp supplies and materials including snacks and beverages for camp attendees
• Coordinating logistics of pick-up/drop-off times of campers and bus transportation pick up and drop off for off-campus field trips (if needed)
• Planning and coordinating Discovery College Show-Off Night as a culminating event for students to demonstrate what they have learned to family and friends
• Communicating with parents, guardians, and school systems as needed
• Assisting with all other duties as assigned related to the coordination and successful completion of daily and weekly activities
